Caitlin Sausville hails from music-rich Denton, TX, where she grew up studying voice, dance, and piano with various influential teachers. She found that her love of music and of performing were best consolidated in musical theater, so she packed her bags and moved to NYC to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). During this professional training program, she studied acting, voice & speech production, dance (ballet, tap, jazz, theater dance), music theory, and much more, under great teachers and well-known performers in the business. While she was growing away from musical theater as her focus, she continued to immerse herself in the New York City arts scene. While at AMDA, Caitlin paired up with vocal coach Jason Robinson, with whom she continued to train long after her matriculation. With Jason’s encouragement, Caitlin auditioned and was accepted into the Melodia Women’s Choir of NYC, the Barnert Temple professional High Holidays quartet, and the Juilliard School Evening Division: Opera Workshop. On the side, she performed with Brooklyn-based folk artist Kendy Gable, as well as Brooklyn-based indie rock band Hawk and Dove, where she met the drummer from Westminster, MA (and future love of her life), Adam Sausville. Caitlin relocated from NYC to Westminster, MA in 2013. She married Adam on September 26, 2015. Currently, the couple plays music locally with a few different ensembles including their new rock band, Gone in the Rearview. Caitlin is thrilled to be bringing her passion for music and art to the talented students of Holy Family Academy!
