I am a former army brat and so have experienced many different cultures as I was growing up. My father was stationed at Ft. Devens during my senior year of high school, and so upon graduation I attended Lesley University for my B.S. and Boston College for my master’s degree in education. I taught special education and mathematics in the public school system, most recently Chelmsford, for thirty years. During those years I began teaching at the high school level but was particularly drawn to students in the middle school, and so I am grateful to be back among seventh and eighth grade students! I attended Catholic schools all through my youth and actually went to three different Sacred Heart Elementary Schools – one in Kansas, one in New Jersey, and one in New York! I was part of the last graduating class from Holy Family High School in Fitchburg, so it is a great pleasure for me to return to the Holy Family’s embrace here at Holy Family Academy.
