These scholarships (worth up to $1200.00) are awarded to students advancing from 5th grade
to 6th, from 6th to 7th, or from 7th to 8th. Students are selected based upon recommendation
from their teachers. The students who are chosen will have displayed academic excellence by
their course grades, active classroom participation, and class attendance record. In addition,
they will have displayed application of their learning through volunteer service to the parish or
community, good character, and upstanding behavior. Forms are available to apply for one of
these scholarships.
These scholarships (worth up to $1000.00) are awarded to new students to H.F.A. who show
promise to become excelling members of our community. These scholarships are awarded upon
recommendation of the Principal based upon prior academic record, demonstration of service to
their parish or community, indication of good character, and as a result of an interview of the
parents and child with the Principal. There is a form available to apply for these scholarships.
These scholarships ($200.00 each) are awarded to returning students who demonstrate growth
and commitment to their education and who contribute to the positive atmosphere of the
school. Students are recommended by faculty and staff to the Principal who reviews requests
with a panel to make determinations for awards.
This aid is awarded by the Diocese of Worcester to students whose families meet certain
financial guidelines. Completion ofthe online Grant-In-Aid application process is required.
Families that qualify will be notified, and payments of the awards are made by the Diocese to the
school and applied directly to the family account.

Students may apply, and the decision will be made by a panel comprised of the Art and Music Teachers and Directors of the school musical and other artistic productions.
